summer reading/booksigning events

We will have two book events at the bookstore this summer:

Friday, July 13, 7PM
A reading/booksigning for Tenants - a new collection of poems by Alicia Fisher (which comes with a cd of the poet reading the poems). Alicia will be here reading poems from the book, her sister Lauryn Hottinger will be singing, and the event will be a part of the Downtown Brunswick Friday Night Art Walk, so come on by for some poetry and music, and stroll around Brunswick for Gallery openings and open studios.

Friday, August 3, 7 PM
a reading/booksigning for Moonbird - A Year on the wind with the great Survivor B95.
Phil Hoose has written a book on the incredible migrations of the shorebirds called the rufa red knots. These amazing birds migrate every year from Tierra del Fuego to above the Arctic Circle. This story centers on one particular red knot, B95, who has made this trip at least nineteen times, flying the equivalent of a trip to the moon and part way back, earning his nickname "Moonbird". Phil usually confuses signing with singing, so we expect there will be song as well as story for this event.

Both events are free and open to the public.
For more information please call the bookstore at 729-5083

The responsibilities of a registered nurse are usually determined by his or her work setting. http://techniciansalary.net/registered-nurse-salary-in-maine/
