Gulf of Maine Books will host a reading by poets Danny Glenn and Dennis Lopez Thursday, September 9, at 7 PM.
Danny Glenn will be reading from his new book of poems Night Heron. He comes to us from Greensboro, North Carolina, where he has retired from UPS, and teaches a course called Demystifying Gita, which explores the primary concepts of Hinduism. He has traveled to India and Nepal to learn more about Hinduism and Buddhism.
Dennis Lopez will be reading from his new book Freight Train To Avalon - poems and stories. Dennis is a carpenter, writer and musician, living in mid-coast Maine.
